Who likes waiting?
*No one raises their hand*
**I didn’t raise it either**
Let’s be real. Nobody likes to wait. We all know what we want and we want it NOW. Just think of a child — one that would cry and cry and cry until he finally gets what he wants…
Years have passed, but our desire to get what we want now, has definitely not!
You might be waiting for a new grade, to graduate, to get a job or a drivers license. You could be waiting for your future husband to come waltzing in or a prayer to be answered. Whatever it is you’re waiting for, though, I just want to encourage you not to waste the waiting. Rather, cherish it!
I want to share a couple ways to do that…
WORK
For some this may come in the form of an actual job, while for others, it may not.
Just continue to work towards whatever your calling may be. If you are waiting to graduate, continue to study hard and learn as much as you can. If you’re waiting for a new job, work well for your current employer and work on getting yourself ‘out there.’ If you’re waiting for your future husband, continue to pray for him and build your character.
Whatever you are waiting for, work hard towards it. And continue to trust God for it!
WORSHIP

While you’re waiting, don’t forget to be thankful for what you DO have. I’m sure the list is plenty long! God is so good! Even when times are hard!
So sister, don’t waste the waiting. Use it! Continue to work and worship — then no matter when you’re waiting season is over, it’ll be worth it! ❤️
Have a wonderful day, Princess!

I love this post! I definitely agree, while waiting can be a difficult period, if we spend it preparing our hearts and minds, it can also be a beautiful time of growth. Lovely thoughts, Noelle! 🤗
