Laugh, Princess, Laugh

Princess, I think you need a good laugh today. What do you think?

Actually, we all do.

Quick fun fact: Did you know that the average child laughs 400 times a day? However, the average adult only laughs about 15 times a day. Hmm…. πŸ€” One of the fruits of the Spirit is joy, yet as we get older and more ‘responsible,’ we get a lot more depressed. Maybe Jesus was on to something when He said to become like the little children. Anyways, I for one, want to laugh more.

Okay, one last quick fact, that I thought was really interesting. Laughing actually boosts your immune system. It works your abs (Hey, if you don’t like sit-ups, try laughing for a while 😜). And some research indicates that if you laughter can add 8 years to your life! I think the Bible got it right again: a merry heart does good like medicine.

I’ve got one for you. Ready? Just ten fun facts:

  1. No one can take their ears off and still hear through them.

2. You can’t breath through your mouth while you tongue is sticking out.

3. You just tried number two.

5. You found out you can but you look like a dog.

6. You skipped number four.

7. You just looked back to see if there was a number four.

8. You were fooled.

9. You’re probably smiling.

10. If you share this with your friends, you’ll have a blast.

How about some real bad jokes? Here goes.

My teachers told me I’d never amount to much because I procrastinate so much. I told them, “Just you wait!”

A cement mixer and a prison bus crashed on the highway. Police advise citizens to look out for a group of hardened criminals.

Why does Humpty Dumpty love autumn? Because he always has a great fall.

How many tickles does it take to make an Octopus laugh? Ten-tickles.

What’s the easiest way to get straight A’s? Use a ruler.

What’s a balloon’s least favorite type of music? Pop.

Are you still not laughing your head off?

What do angels say when they greet each other? Halo, halo, halo.

Who was the smartest man in the Bible? Abraham. He knew a Lot.

Why do we say ‘amen’ at the end of our prayers instead of ‘awomen’? For the same reason we sing hymns and not hers.

If I’ve failed to bring a little joy to your life, princess, maybe this’ll help. 🀣🀣

Well, princess, I hope that I’ve brought a little joy into your life. However, nothing this world can offer will give you joy, at least not permanent joy. God is the source of all lasting joy. So go on a fun-venture with Him. Enjoy the things He was for you, relish your with Him, stay in constant commune with Him, and let Him pour His love and joy over you!

I love you, princess!

Love in Christ,

Noelle

Might as well have a laugh while you’re here.

If this post made you laugh or brought some color into your life, hit the like button, would you? (Maybe it’ll make me laugh πŸ˜…)
