Be a Warrior

We are living in troubling times — a time where our freedoms are being striped from us because of a rampant fear of a disease; a time where people are wrongfully murdered and then, in response, millions of dollars in property damage is incurred; a time where people want to take away our right to practice religion in the way that we so desire. Yes, sister, these are troubling times. Yet all of this is just part of a bigger war. It is a battle for the souls of the people of our country.

But princess, you can make a difference in this war. You have what it takes. God has given you the weapons you need. And we must use them!

So what are these weapons?

They aren’t physical weapons — they’re more powerful than that!

It’s a belt of truth; a breastplate of righteousness; the Gospel; the shield of faith; the helmet of salvation; it’s the sword of the Spirit. Yes, sister, those are powerful weapons — and weapons we are going to employ. Above all, though, our weapon is prayer. It is through prayer that we access all the other weapons. So we are going to pray.

We are going to pray for a revival in this country.

We are going to pray for protection for this country.

We are going to pray that, as a country, we will not be so fearful, but that we would be peaceful.

We are going to pray for healing for this country, spiritually and then physically.

Princess, we have got to pray. We have to pray intentionally, fervently, consistently.  We are going to pray non-stop, for this country. We have too!

We don’t have because we don’t ask. Pray without ceasing. Pray and keep praying. The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.  At the very mention of Jesus’ name, the devil trembles. Well then, let’s make him slink behind enemy lines. And let’s start NOW!!

Love in Christ,

  1. I liked that last line. About the devil trembling, and having him slink behind enemy lines. If God is for us, who can be against us. That’s my favorite line in the Bible.
